Heidi Christine O’Connor, with the help of her mom, Patty, opened their first salon in Ada in 1987 with $10,000 and a million dollar dream. Since then, two of Patty’s other children, Betsy and Cris, joined the duo. Our “Experience the Difference” motto at Heidi Christine’s is more than just a tagline; it’s a philosophy that evolved over the past 30 years of serving our communities while remaining committed to our core values.
A Teaching Salon
We understand we’re in the business of making people look and feel good. That’s why each of our stylists must first go through an apprentice or associate’s training program when joining our team. And to ensure all of our employees keep up on the latest trends and techniques, the top educators in the industry visit our salons regularly to offer training. Our staff is also rewarded for their efforts to attend outside classes and seminars. Our “teaching” philosophy goes beyond training our staff; it also includes educating our clients. We believe in providing you with the tools and knowledge you’ll need to keep you looking your best in between appointments. Your stylist will offer insight into how the right products, tools, and techniques can make you look better than you ever imagined.
As a family-owned business, giving back to our local communities has always been a priority. We donate over $60,000 a year to local charitable organizations, including Relay for Life, events supporting American Cancer Society, Kids’ Food Basket, JDRF, Family Promise, and more.
